The Big Five Motel is situated in a quiet location off the main street of Palmerston North yet still within walking distance of most civic amenities. If you are looking for great accommodation at affordable rates with friendly service, our motel is perfect for you.
We have a combination of brand new units and newly renovated units. All 14 units are non-smoking. Tasteful animal themed interior decor with king size and king single beds.
We have a range of studio, traveller, group and family units available. A variety of kitchen facilities are available ranging from full kitchen with oven to simple jug and toaster.
All units have heating, fans, electric blankets, hair dryers, SKY TV, 32" HD LCD TV's (26" HD LCD TV's in main bedrooms), high-speed secure cabled and wireless broadband internet.

Standard Studio Unit - Sleeps 2 persons
BRAND NEW units with a king size bed which can be split into single beds on request. There is an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. Units have a kitchenette with a microwave, large bar fridge, jug, toaster and tea/coffee making facilities.

Deluxe Studio Unit - Sleeps 2 persons
Unit with a king size bed which can be split into single beds on request. There is an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. Units have kitchenette with microwave, jug, toaster and fridge.

Luxury Studio Unit - Sleeps up to 5 persons
Units with a king size bed which can be split into single beds on request as well as king single beds. There is an en-suite bathroom with shower and separate toilet. Units have a separate kitchen with a two plate stove top, microwave and fridge.

One Bedroom Unit - Sleeps up to 5 persons
Units with king size bed in main bedroom which can be split on request and king single beds in lounge. There is an en-suite bathroom with spa bath, shower and toilet. Open plan kitchen with two plate stove top, microwave and fridge.

Two Bedroom Unit - Sleeps up to 6 persons
Units with a king size bed in both bedrooms, which can be split into singles on request. There are king single beds in the lounge. There are two bathrooms with shower and toilet facilities, one en-suite. Open plan full kitchen with stove and oven, microwave and full length fridge. Private courtyard with outdoor furniture.
